Demand has been growing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area for diverse, carrier-class fiber optic networking solutions.
Now, more options will be available thanks to a new partnership between FiberLight, LLC and Provision Data Services, a Dallas-based Tier 3 data center services provider. FiberLight plans to construct dual entrances into Provision’s downtown Dallas data center, providing local and regional companies direct access to a combination of high quality fiber optic networking solutions as well as scalable colocation and interconnection services through Provision.
The 137,000 square-foot data center, located at 2020 Live Oak Street, offers 14 MW capacity right in the heart of Dallas’s Central Business District (CBD).
Right now there is massive demand for fiber optic connectivity among businesses. The challenge, however, is discovering customers who need it and connecting with them.
This process just got a lot easier, thanks to FiberLight, LLC, an industry leader for high performance fiber optic network solutions. Just recently, FiberLight released a near-net building list which identifies 4,500 buildings across its footprint that can be lit with its best-in-class data services.
What would happen if your business were to suddenly lose connectivity to a major U.S. market? Your entire operation would be disrupted, which would cost a fortune.
For this reason, you need to take point-to-point transport seriously. Your business is only as strong as its connections between U.S. hubs.
On July 26, 2016, FiberLight announced that the company will continue to invest in its Texas-based network.
Moving forward, FiberLight will provide low-latency transport to growing rural communities across Texas. The expansion will establish additional low-latency connectivity between its Dallas-Austin-San Antonio-Houston (DASH) footprint, and areas across the western part of its network including Amarillo, Abilene, Midland, Lubbock, Odessa, San Angelo and surrounding areas.

FiberLight and Cirracore Announce Co-Branded IaaS Offering for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
FiberLight, LLC and Cirracore recently partnered to launch an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud offering in FiberLight’s 180 Peachtree, Atlanta, GA and 1950 N. Stemmons, Dallas, TX facilities. The public and hybrid IaaS offering enables customers to securely migrate computing resources to the cloud, readily scale out infrastructure and significantly reduce spending by paying only for the capacity they use.
This cloud-based IaaS offering’s uptime capability is especially critical for customers that handle Big Data. A collection of data so large and complex requires a viable Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solution for data transport, processing, storage and distribution. FiberLight’s selection of Cirracore was strategic in this aspect.
As a leading supplier of VMware®-based cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions for business continuity and disaster recovery, Cirracore has experienced unprecedented uptimes of 100 percent since the company’s inception. This is due, in large part, to a leadership team deeply rooted in IT security.
