At HostingCon Global 2016, iMPR Founder and CEO Ilissa Miller Will Discuss How to Effectively Leverage Media and Analysts at Industry Events

hostingconAdopting a proactive approach to media and analyst relations at industry events is often the difference between your company’s message being heard and making an impact, or getting drowned out in the din. HostingCon Global 2016 will take place July 24-27 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, attracting several thousand executive level decision-makers in the hosting and cloud provider industry across the world. On Monday, July 25 at 1:30 p.m., Ilissa Miller, Founder and CEO of iMiller Public Relations, will lead a Marketing Speed Roundtable, “How to Leverage Media at Conferences and Events.” For attendees endeavoring to raise their company’s profile at such gatherings, the timing could not be more fortuitous.

Ilissa-240x300During these unique and interactive roundtable sessions, attendees will be divided into small groups and meet with five individual workshop leaders for substantive dialogue and discussion on such topics as branding, thought leadership and content marketing in the telecom and technology sectors. iMPR’s Mrs. Miller brings nearly two decades of experience in sales, marketing and product development to her clients in an effort to help them differentiate their messages and achieve renown within a rapidly evolving industry. For her roundtable, she will lead a discussion of the strategies and tactics a company can apply to engage media representatives and analysts attending conferences to ensure they convey their firm’s core offerings in an effective and compelling manner.

“As my esteemed communications and PR colleagues realize, companies and media attending industry events have an interdependent relationship,” comments Mrs. Miller. “Members of the media and analysts need to be informed of innovative products and services, while companies need to reach out and nurture relationships with these individuals to ensure their stories are being told accurately and in a way that differentiates them from their competition. What information companies share with the media and other key influencers, whom they share it with, and how they share it are all equally important.”

During the Marketing Speed Roundtables, Mrs. Miller will be joined by Richard Stevenson, Head of Marketing Communications and Global PR at ePages, Anastasia Bullinger, Director of Communications and Branding at SingleHop, Hartland Ross, President of eBridge Marketing Solutions, and Dean Ara, Principal of Total Product Marketing.

In addition to the Roundtable session, Mrs. Miller will have the opportunity to share her marketing expertise with a wider audience during the “Ask the Experts 2” panel on Tuesday, July 26 at 4:45 p.m.  Other communications and marketing leaders participating in this panel will include Alisha Adams, Director of Online Channels and Social at Total Product Marketing, Brett Dunst, Vice President of Brand and Community at DreamHost, and James Lippie of Clarity Channel Advisors, among others.
