PacnetPacnet recently expanded its Enterprise Markets Organization to meet the growing needs of North American and European customers seeking services in the Asia-Pacific region.  The company has appointed Bill Risch as Vice President, North America and Europe; Michael Kawalchuk as Regional Director, East America and Europe; and Bill Haubold as Regional Director, West America, to its customer-focused management team.  Both Bill Haubold and Michael Kawalchuk will be under the supervision of Bill Risch, who will report to Cardi Prinzi, President of Enterprise Markets, as they look to further increase Pacnet’s service and product capabilities within the APAC region.  These capabilities include an extensive service portfolio complete with MPLS, Ethernet International Private Line (EIPL), Dedicated Internet Access and IP Transit services – all supported by the company’s network Points of Presence (PoPs) throughout the Asia-Pacific region, interconnected data centers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, China, and other major APAC markets, and the region’s largest subsea cable system spanning over 28,000 fiber miles.

Pacnet’s Enterprise Markets team will be focused on supporting enterprise customers with current or future interests in the Asia-Pacific region.  The recent appointments expand the Enterprise Markets Division’s reach across the globe; the organization now maintains resources in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Taipei, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Seoul, Melbourne, China, and India.

Mr. Risch, Mr. Kawalchuk and Mr. Haubold are three industry veterans who hold a plethora of executive-level and telecommunications expertise.  Bill Risch has served as Pacnet’s Regional Director for the past three years and is based in San Francisco, CA.  As Regional Director, Risch was instrumental in driving revenue from Pacnet’s cloud, content and enterprise customers.  Prior to Pacnet, Risch held several sales management positions at Verizon Business, MCI and WorldCom.  Michael Kawalchuk comes to Pacnet from CenturyLink and Global Crossing, where he served as Sales Director.  Kawalchuk also served as the Managing Director for the New York Stock Exchange as well as a Director at MCI.  He resides in New York City.  Mr. Haubold is rejoining Pacnet after working as a Business Development Manager for LifeLock.  Prior to his initial stint at Pacnet, Mr. Haubold several sales and leadership positions at Splice Communications, LDDS Verizon Business and MCI.  Combined, the team’s in-depth industry experience and Pacnet’s extensive infrastructure and managed network and data center services within the region offer customers unprecedented connectivity within Asia-Pacific.
