Infomart LogoNational wholesale data center provider Infomart Data Centers recently named Paul Vaccaro its new Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering.  Vaccaro oversees the design, delivery and management of Infomart’s entire mission-critical infrastructure.  He will also supervise all engineering, operations and security staff across Infomart’s Silicon Valley; Portland, Oregon; Dallas, Texas; and Ashburn, Virginia facilities.

Paul-Vaccaro-300x300Infomart’s partners and customers will be the beneficiaries of Vaccaro’s demonstrated success in global IT operations management.  Vaccaro brings to the table over 20 years of technical leadership and experience in enterprise IT functions, having held numerous global data center and other senior positions at Intel Corporation.

At Intel, Vaccaro developed vast knowledge and gained in-depth experience in IT applications and systems, data center and facilities operations, infrastructure management and best practices for operational efficiency and design.  He also authored multiple Intel IT technical publications on power density and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), as well as on data center efficiency and retrofitting.

As Infomart President John Sheputis explained, this experience will serve Vaccaro well in his new role.

In addition to his experience in global data center operations management, Vaccaro also excels at capacity planning, sales and marketing, engineering and developing strategic programs. He is a founding member of the board of directors for 7×24 Mission-Critical Exchange International, Portland Chapter, and a regular speaker at the 7×24 Exchange National Conference.
